These were $29 last night when I bought one, but when I went to post they'd jumped up to $34.97. still seems like a deal, at $2.50 cheaper per switch compared to the current Amazon sale price.
These are normally ~$24 per switch.
Why crowd your wifi network by adding something that works perfectly well on its own?
These are great for rooms where you enter with loaded hands. I have these in my laundry room and they work great.
OMG same, i have it for both our 2 master closets / 2 guest room closets / kitchen pantry room and laundry room. Flawlessly it works every time and after 1 min it shuts off automatically. No more kids leaving the lights on !!! best purchase ever, there are several options to what you want the timeout timer to be i.e 1 min 3 min 5 min and 10 min i think

Wifi devices always pose a security risk, especially if not on properly firewalled VLANs. Also, depending on the device, some may not function properly without a working internet connection. For stuff like sensors and switches, I'd prefer dedicated wireless networks like Zigbee or Zwave that do not provide these devices with access to the internet or any wifi networks for that matter.
Yeah, but that's a different price range. I have over 30 IoT devices on an isolated IoT network (and vlan) and no issues so far.
The 2-pack shows 8.99 shipping but the 3-pack shows free shipping at least for my location in NJ and NY. The cost per switch comes out to 17.63 though vs 17.45 for the 2-pack and you may not need 3...
Thanks. I bought 3 sets today for $23.97 each set in store. Have anyone install this for bathroom fan as timer? I have family member just forgotten/refuse to turn fan on.
I'm an expert on motion sensing. These make a loud popping noise because they use a relay to turn on. The dimmer version of this is more expensive but totally silent. Get the dimmer version if you want stealth motion sensing.

I have tied the fan and light together and put them both on these switches. Works great.

Thanks. You need to keep an eye on it because this only 2A and combine together 1 switch may get overheated. As the current setup, I will install them on 2 separate switches.

I work in tech, and sometimes you just don't want to be spending time debugging things around the house. It's an on/off switch so just use it like that.
I installed a smart door lock on my aging parent's house, and I had to be their IT on the weekend when it had trouble connecting and did not open. No more stupid "smart" devices for me.

It would be odd for a vent fan and a bathroom light to exceed 240W. In any case the single switch setup was convenient. For us.

I'm not referring to the garage door lights.
Seconded. I have a bunch of these around my house for closets, bathrooms, laundry, and garage. Works perfectly for when I don't need smart controls.

Remember to get vacancy switches for bedrooms, and occupancy switches for laundry/garage.
