so they work well, do what they are supposed to, and are on a great sale-- and they aren't remarkable! may be you want them to light themselves up or something! i used them all the time, and ive used most of the others out there, and these are the best

Got these last time. Nothing remarkable, they simply burn slowly and strong to give your wood or charcoal a chance to take.

Fwiw, the meecos red devil surestart bricks are 144 for 12.99 at every day price. 2 of them broken in half will get a large kamado lit evenly.

Lighting a fire is truly a basic skill every person should have. This is a shortcut, but you can also collect dry twigs in your backyard or old toilet paper rolls and cardboard. You could also pay money to cut corners. Do what you like.
I agree. For my BBQ i have a chimney starter and I actually use old mail, paper bags, egg cartons (compressed paper), kids homework, or paper towels if I'm out of everything else. I add some cooking oil and then light it up with a lighter. Simple, easy, cost effective.

Maybe if I'm camping and I don't want to deal with kindling, small twigs, larger branches, then logs. I can see my self buying these. But seems a bit expensive for how many uses you get.

ok so after looking at the video and customer pictures... word of advice, put it underneath the logs, charcoal... not on top. especially if you have a chimney starter.

also I just recommend you get a chimney starter and use cooking oil soaked - paper towels, paper, or compressed egg cartons. will work just as well.

May work for some ... But I never have and never will put wax in my grill for cooking or any other reason.

"Single boom firestarter is equivalent to 3-starters to 5-starters of leading competitor brands" but it's still a single unit. Who's gonna use 3-5 of competitors to start a fire?

I'm gonna save you all about $7. Get a bottle of 91% alcohol, an old jar or airtight container, and some cotton balls. Fill jar with cotton balls then pour in the 91% rubbing alcohol. Now you can make hundreds of firestarters for a few dollars and they burn clean, don't leave any residue. I used to use the Weber cubes and switched to this method after the Weber cubes went from about $5 to $8 for a 24 pack. One cotton ball is enough to light my charcoal chimney and it produces a nice hot and large flame.

Old candle wax and dryer lint. Mix them up. Store in a ziploc. Go camping.

I think collecting toilet paper rolls is one person's choice.. I'll use these or similar products because time is money.

TIL that how people choose start a fire is an incredibly personal choice.
