im not so sure this is that great of a deal. Its still $1300 for a 75in TV. You can get much better TVs from TCL and Hisnese for less. Save your time if you're gonna post telling me how much better sammy is that TCL or Hisense. That was true years ago and thats simply not the case.

the black uniformity is atrocious.
The 80 series qleds haven't been good since the 2018 q8fn- (https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...-qled-2018)
I think I'd take the 70 series over the 80 every year, in fact I'd much rather have the 2019 q70r over this 2023 q80c( the contrast looks so good people think it's an oled and it runs at 4k 120hz w/ vrr flawlessly with only hdmi 2.0

case in point go 70 series not 80 series. if you go q70c, contrast up full, brightness 50-70% turn down the blue in the offset (and the green a pinch)
the reason to choose the q70 over hinsense or tlc flagships or mid flagships is that it handles non native pc resolutions better than any other brand.

buy this instead-

compare here- (observe black uniformity and observe response time under motion)

that is IF YOU DON'T have a microcenter near you!
if you do , this is right next to my house right now-

THE Q90B 75" for $999, a better tv than even the q (90) c

Most Mercedes are overpriced, extremely garish, and unreliable. The company is a shell of what it used to be.

I don't think alluding to this as the equivalent is the compliment you think it is.
