It was a 1 day only Deal of the Day yesterday. But the Costco deal starting April 10 is better.

That was a good deal, but that's the same mower as the older GW S/P in a different color. Single battery port, older style handle & controls. Not exactly "apples to apples" with the Costco dual port model.

The ad says it came with two 2.5 Ah batteries, not two 5 Ah batteries.

True, if you are willing to carry around the second, charged battery, stop mowing and change over and resume.

I have about 6 GW 80V tools, all single port except the mower. When the batttery dies on snowblower, chainsaw, hedge trimmer, etc. I stop, remove the dead battery, walk back to the garage, pickup a fresh one, put the depleted one on the charger, walk back to the tool and insert the new battery. I wish the snowblower were dual port. The other tools would be too heavy with more than one.

Not a big deal, but certainly not "seamless" like the mower that switches to the fresh, onboard battery automatically. My yard is pretty thick Bermuda and uses allmost all of the two 4 Ah batteries to complete the job. I doubt that two of the 2.5 Ahs would do it.

3 battery switches for 1.25 acres, yup takes 30 seconds to go to the garage and swap batteries. As seamless as it gets.
