Recently purchased the 65" and I'm not exactly thrilled. The picture quality is pretty good but once the film has heavy action or a lot of camera panning it falls apart. Tinkering with the dolbyhdr, motion and acceleration settings can help but they can also introduce other weirdness. It's not a bad tv but make sure you can live with those before purchasing 👍

I had the same motion-type issues with a U7K. Using the motion settings helped-out with the stutter problems, but led to, not "soap opera", but just a "weirdness" like you mentioned. Ended up returning.

Out of curiosity, what did you end up getting? I'm debating returning it and getting an X90L, or saving up for an OLED panel like C3/S90. I'm mostly waiting for another good price drop

Nothing yet... waiting for end-of-season price drops. Unfortunately, my family's watching habits keep me from buying an OLED. Been leaning toward an X90L, QN90C, or QN85C. I'm very sensitive to motion issues, and Sony, Samsung, and LG seem to handle motion the best.

Given the price difference between the u7k, this and the x90l......you'd have to save almost as much for it (x90l) as the oleds. The x90l is in the oled price range which is almost double this.

Thought about getting this TV to connect to Xbox Series X. Anyone use this tv with a console? Thought about the Hisense u7, but think the Q7 might be a little better in terms of performance?
Saw this in person as compared to a U7K. While the colors on the U7K popped, the whites were more of a magenta hue. Since Hisense has QA/QC issues, I bought the Q7.

Edit: SD Staff fixed it, but the "deal history" is still linked to the 98" TCL S5
