Agree. Good price per ounce but high in sugar. I would eat it but not good for low carb diets. No nitrites are a plus.
Last time we got this from Costco and my wife didn't like the soft or tenderness of the jerky. Almost mushy.

Too much sugar for my taste. I'll make my own jerky. Great price though on a good product. I can't make jerky for less than $1/oz, so this is cheaper than mine.

Tried a brand on clearance at WM the other day for $1, same size bag. Was skeptical on pork jerky, but it was tasty.

Went back and grabbed 10 more.

Ate them all within 24 hours, and whaddya know, skeptical again.

Only got one bag also. it's not jerky, it's too mushy (and super salty and sweet) & It's been cooked! and too much preservative nitrates when it's already so salty. either theyre very ignorant or trying to fool consumers when they say there's no nitrates added, or no MSG when there's yeast extract. And only 8 g of protein per servng, not what it says, 10 or 11 g.
