Holding out for the Flexvolt set to go on sale to upgrade.

The folding hinge on the weed whacker is used for cutting DeWalt's shipping cost. It isn't something most folks are going to fold up in the garage unless space is really limited.

The leaf blower is the real battery killer. You'll need more than 1 battery to do any normal size yard during the Fall. Don't recharge a hot battery as it will shorten its life. Wait until it cools down to start the recharge.

I've got this set. The string trimmer has tons of power but it throws debris all over the place. It's best to wear pants when using this one!

I have this set and it works great. You will need more than just the battery that comes with it if you plan on using the trimmer and blower in the same outing.

Ace deal is a different model trimmer, the old one DCST925 which is not brushless. The motor will probably give out much sooner. DCST922 has brushless and folds for easy storage. IDK if its worth the extra $50 for everybody but I snagged the newer model.

I've had a different Dewalt trimmer for several years and it throws debris all over the place too. I cannot wait for the battery or trimmer to die, so I have an excuse to replace it with a different brand. Never wanted something to stop working so badly.

Are you talking about the 60v Flexvolt combo? I've been wanting to grab it but wasn't sure if it ever went on sale.
