It's Costco. Just return it if you need to warranty it and it's getting denied by the manufacturer

If you want something DIY, 12 volt water pumps are around $50. Toss in an old car battery or use your car's battery. Add in some fittings to connect a small garden hose and you're set. Just be aware that stronger pumps require thicker cables.

Tempted as this is quite a bit lower than anywhere else but I worry about warranty given some friends experiences with rinsekits.

"Costco's guarantee applies, even though this item may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, because Costco is not an "authorized" dealer of the merchandise."

If you want something DIY, 12 volt water pumps are around $50. Toss in an old car battery or use your car's battery. Add in some fittings to connect a small garden hose and you're set. Just be aware that stronger pumps require thicker cables.

Me, I would just use one of those solar bag showers that warm the water and dispense it via gravity. You can get 2 for like $15.

I've had the Zodi Extreme shower for 6 years now. While I've explored other options over that time, I feel it is the best option out there and better than this deal. It's been very durable, no electronics/ pumps to fail like this deal. Ability to heat water in the tank over a stove or fire for hot shower. Manual pump but retains good pressure once fully pressurized. Costs less than this. Lightweight and portable.

Yeah, I feel like you could jury rig a washdown pump and a 12V battery for a whole lot less than one of these and get a much more robust and strong pump and longer lasting battery while you're at it.

I use a nemo shower if i need pressurized water. I also have the dometic go faucet if i just want running water faucet

I confess that I am at a total loss on this one.
I am trying to understand why a couple of gallon jugs of water cant just be used to rinse off. If you wanted to go fancy, solar showers have been around for a very long time. Do you really need more pressure than what simple gravity can provide? As far as heating the water....the sun in the summer and pouring some water you heated on a burner into some cold in the winter.

I never knew this was a thing. I immediately thought of when I ran a 6 hour ultramarathon through a trail in central Florida and how disgusting me and my wife were after. Sweat, sand, salt, dirt/mud. We had to get in the car and drive 5 hours across state to Tampa to go to my little sisters graduation dinner from her masters program. After our race, we did as you said. Had several gallons of water left from our race supplies and dumped on ourselves. It felt absolutely amazing. However, it left a lot to be desired

This would have been wonderful to have afterwards. Especially to prep for a long car ride to our hotel.

Having said that, dunno if its worth 200 bucks. Maybe if I did those types of events more often. Or went camping

Why did you intentionally leave out the first sentence of the paragraph you quoted???

Quite a few poor reviews on Amazon, but may give this a go given ease of returning if necessary. As a surfer/mountain biker, have tried the hanging bag and purchased a similar item from costco a few years back (wound up returning without a hassle). The hanging one was inconvenient and the hand pump operated one's pressure would die quickly.

Or you can just fill up a 5 gal bucket & use a solo cup.

Regularly $190, now $190? How is this a deal. I bought The Hart 5-gal rinser kit last year for $49 and it is fantastic. The fact you can swap the battery is very nice and you can attach other hoses/nozzles to it if you need to.

These things are useful for things like Camp showers, camp kitchen, watering plants and of course rinsing off sandy beach equipment before packing it into your car.
