Drool. $138 may seem like a lot for one bit, but this is a unicorn deal. Whiteside is arguably the best in the business and made in the USA, and a machined solid carbide compression spiral flush bit with top and bottom bearings of even average quality would normally cost much more than this.

CCC says lowest price in over four years. In for one.

I bought one as well. Certainly not an "omg I better grab this just in case" impulse buy, but, if you have been waiting for a good deal on one of these, I doubt you will ever see it for less than this again.

The only bit better than this would be the Whiteside UDC9112 from bitsbits with their proprietary coating. But for the price difference, if I didn't already have the bitsbits one, I would jump all over this! Great find OP!

I've been eyeing this bit for a while as I'd really like to quit the wood-launching game I've been playing at my router table the last couple years. I've also been seeing the Chinese made- carbide insert flush trim bits on Amazon. I love my helical head jointer so my hope is that these would work just as well from the router table, but there are very few reviews, and most were done by guys who didn't have to pay for the bit. Has anybody here tried them? LANGSKIP and SpeTool are the ones I've been seeing the most

I thought the same thing when I was looking at this deal.
Aliexpress has them too, they all look like the same manufacturer to me.

So, what are the chances this might be a counterfeit product? Is the vendor (Routerbitworld) reliable? You can go on eBay and see these exact bits being shipped from China (copies, I have to assume).
Has anyone here purchased these from this seller before?

I've ordered saw blades from their actual website. Came quickly and no problems with them. Ordered router bits from them on Amazon a couple times (nothing this expensive, though) and everything seemed to be in order. They were always fulfilled by Amazon, though.

I've been waiting for this to drop in price from a reputable seller for the past year. This is the first seller to drop below $180, which isn't a brand new Amazon seller. The thousands of reviews were enough to convince me to pull the trigger.

Great price, I have the bits & bits version of this bit and its an absolute beast. It does scare me when I am using it but it works great.
