$20 seems like a fair price, so not saying this isn't a good deal...

.. but I would not expect much from the noise cancelling.
I had some Philips headphones with noise canceling and the noise canceling was very mediocre.
And saw on Amazon reviews that " the noise cancelling is extremely underwhelming".

Yeah, exactly. I've done this many times when there's an online item I want that's under $35. I'll just include a separate pickup order for some Oatmilk or Cold Brew Coffee or some other regular items that I might need. And then just add everything in cart and place the order. As long as the total order is over $35, the item(s) that ship get shipped for free and any pickup items I just stop by and pick up later.

Now, I also have a Walmart Credit Card that I always charge to (for the extra rewards points). So I don't know if this is specific to me having and charging to that card on file, but I've always been under the impression that this would work for anyone doing a Walmart.com order.
Good tip. By the way, have you ever not picked up or returned the item but kept the delived item? Did Walmart charge back or deduct the shipping fees?

While we're talking earbuds, does anyone have any recommendations for some that are really water proof and don't have their touch controls go nuts when they get wet?

I've picked up a few to try and they're either not actually water proof or they're unusable when they get wet due to their touch controls thinking water = finger.
Jabra 8 Active or Jabra 10 for bigger drivers; both have physical buttons. But don't pay MSRP. All wireless earbuds have problems within the first year and battery degradation by year 2.

It looks like a very fair deal for the price. Brought two of them. Went ahead and got a two-year warranty since it only cost a dollar a year. Lol somehow or another I think I make out all right.

Will these kill me if I use them while sleeping? 🤭

Don't put crap like this in your ears, at least spend $50 and get something not total crapshoot and good eq/anc.
What if these were initially $50? 🤔
Think u may be in the wrong place to sell "u get what u pay for."
The point of this site is to get more yet pay less.

Nah, I needed to place a small pickup order for Walmart anyway. So when you combine a shipping and pickup that totals over $35 (even without Walmart+), you still get any shipped products delivered free.
they started charging for under $35 instore pickup orders for half a yr already. so not sure how it's combined with the shipping now.

I've had these [amazon.com] Tribit earbuds for about 2.5 years. I use them in the shower now and then, but never when washing my hair and try not to spray directly on them. I'll tap the earbuds to pause at times using a wet finger or will adjust them in my ear with wet hands, and they've probably gotten splashed when washing my face. Hasn't caused a problem. I would say they are probably more splash proof than fully waterproof; dropping them into water would probably ruin them.

There was a coupon when I got them, so they only cost $21.99. The waterproof rating is IPX8; I'd just look for another pair at that rating if I wanted more for the shower.

I bought the Philips T4556 in May from Woot for $30 as my first earbuds. The first box came with all packaging but no product, but they took care of it. I have these earbuds in my pocket now. Overall, I am happy with them.

Battery life and comfort are good. I can wear them all day while working, and I don't often charge them. Bass and sound quality are much better than a cheaper pair I got later from Temu.

I don't notice much difference when ANC is on. When exercising in rain or when sweaty, they feel loose but don't fall out.

Philips headphone products are only worth it when priced at a disposable price. I purchased some neckband earbuds back in September and initially loved them, but the left side started crackling after a couple of months.

That's when the fun started. I contacted their support to get them warrantied. Worked through the phone tree to get to the right queue and the call disconnected. I called back and talked to someone, but as soon as I said 'hi', disconnected again. Called again and it disconnected before I got all the way through the call tree. I gave up and tried again a couple of days later.

Every time I called, I had the same infuriating experience!

When I finally did get through to a representative after about a month of this nonsense (it's a vendetta now - they will honor their warranty!), she was difficult to understand because of the heavy Hispanic accent, but we got through it. Even after struggling just to send a simple email to me due to the accent and language barrier, I was just happy to have finally had my ticket placed. Got the email from a .mx domain requesting pics of the device which I sent and then I waited.

and waited...

and waited some more...

I'm starting to think they didn't get my response, so I had to call AGAIN! Another two weeks of trying to get connected to someone and even when I did, getting disconnected as soon as I started to talk. Another month passed before I actually got to talk to a rep - interestingly I think the same one that opened the ticket. She was able to locate my pics in some universal mailbox and gave the RMA number. FINALLY!!!

I sent the headphones back at my expense and then guess what happened?!? You got it! I. Waited.

After a month I got my reimbursement check in the mail.

5 months of phone wrangling and bitter resentment all for this pitiful hand-written check.

Only purchase this if you don't want to claim the warranty! When it stops working, throw it away. You've been warned.

Do they make like a cord that connects these together to prevent fall out and drops?
No, there are no cords or wires of any kind (besides charging). I had them for 11 months and use them all the time. They feel loose when running sweaty or running in the rain, so I gently push them back in, but they have never fallen out. I bike with them for two hours without an issue. Each person's ears are different, so YMMV.

Right, I just mean generic cord of some kind.
