it's that the ethernet connection from the monitor will pass through usb-c to the laptop, so it gives the laptop a hard wired internet connection when plugged into the monitor

Ips, Ethernet, 90w usb c; this hits all points for productivity! Gaming will suffer due to 60Hz (you really want >= 120hz) but otherwise solid monitor for a new price

It also has built-in speakers. Plus 3yrs warranty. Excellent deal.

Would this allow 2 picture by picture sources without installing any software on the PC laptop itself?
Is that feature even exist on hardware only implementation??

i'm having a hard time leaving my dual displays - but this might be it to try.

does anyone use a second flat monitor with one curved one? or does that not make much sense?
I have a 18" portable monitor on the way. Plan to put it in front of this one, not unlike having a laptop open

In for 2. Love the built in dock and hopefully the speakers are decent quality. 3 YR warranty is whip cream and cherries on top!

I don't see anything in the description I'm sorry I just didn't want to check out if I was missing something.
It's also in the description at the end, so you have to click the "Read More" button to see the rest of the description.

In theory you are asking to "daisy chain" - you should be able to but have not tried it. Worst case return it or run on another docking station like a conventional monitor.
Can't daisy chain as there is no "out" port to go to the 2nd monitor. All the ports are labeled IN.
Some monitors have dual DisplayPort connections and you can daisy chain that way.

What one could do here is use USB-C to laptop on 1st monitor and then if your laptop has HDMI or DP (or another USB-C) you can connect the 2nd monitor for a dual monitor setup.

In my opinion one slab of glass is ideal for work. Two monitors which I had for years is really not very productive. The only sense I see in a to monitor setup is if the second monitor is showing video or is static on a page for some reference of need. Not dragging a ouse from one montiro to another. Being able to focus at least on one screen I think is better.
Does the usb-c support video and audio?

All those plusses, plus USB hub for USB-A ports built into the monitor.

According to this support article, you can split screen with separate inputs. Not sure about on the same input: https://www.lg.com/us/support/hel...3401120215
Thanks. Think splitting screen for single input is much more useful … have been looking for one

I heard people connecting usb c and hdmi to the same laptop, sounds awkward…

Just wondering, why do you need the ethernet for a monitor?
Many newer laptops dont have an ethernet port.

I have a 38'' Dell U Series and the ability to not bust out a dock is vital for desk space. I firmly believe large monitors should have at least USB-C capabilities.
