Ya'll are the problem.
Between Fairytale Fights, some Nerf game bundle (the Nerf rifle even traded
into Gamestop) and Sudoku Ball Detective for DS I racked up a ton of free credit.
For people who want to know how to calculate the EXACT trade-in credit value you're going to get for a game, go here: https://www.gamestop.com/trade/?c...eView=list [gamestop.com]
Search for the game you want to trade in (make sure it's the exact title/edition/system as shown) and find the "Store Credit" value under "Regular Value". Using Super Mario Bros. Wonder as an example, it's listed as $35 as of today (4/4/2024).
Take the Store Credit Regular Value ($35) and multiply it by 1.5 if you're *not* a Pro Member. If you're a Pro Member, take the Store Credit Regular Value and multiply it by 1.6. For example, a Pro Member trading in Super Mario Bros. Wonder for store credit will get $35 x 1.6 = $56.
It was filthy, the floors looked like they'd never been vacuumed, the cashier tries to pressure sell you digital magazines (?) and subscriptions and then had to deal with the wandering 45 yr old man who bought a Funko Pop two hours ago but hasn't left the store. Like no, I don't want to talk to you about Pokemon cards, these are for my 9 year old.
The store runs on nostalgia and broken dreams.

Also, I used some credit to set up store pickup and accidentally chose the wrong store, and there was no way to transfer the pickup and no way to get the credit back. 11k points down the drain!
