Better with the 512G SSD version. That's NVme2 drive and leave 3x 3.5'' available.
The 512G HD or 256GB HD version are ok, but not as good as the SSD one.
Got the Best Performance i7-9700 version for $422 shipped; thanks OP. Usually only the small/micro case types go on sale so I was quick to act when a full sized tower was available. I like the expandability and options that full size desktops/towers have.
Dell refurbished workstation are built like tanks and are an excellent bang for the buck IMO. I'm still using using a Precision T3500 I got for $250 back in 2015 and it still works great and is usable/powerful enough to handle everything I want; even modern games running at 1080p with a Radeon RX 6600 XT installed.
However, since Windows 11 can not be installed on the Precision T3500 I was going to need to upgrade. The Precision 3630 is compatible with Windows 11[microsoft.com] according to my research[dell.com] so I should be good to go. I'm hoping to sell the NVIDIA Quadro P2200 to make the deal even sweeter. I'm not sure what they go for though; hoping to get at least $100 for it on Ebay...
Most of theae refurbished desktop are with SSD, even they did not mention in the description. I bought a 5820 with similar price, it is with 1TB ssd holding in a PCIE adaptor box, save me a free dock site, and it even come with a P4000 graphic card. Just try your luck.

Same here, T3600 from 2017 working fine, just not as efficient as newer cpu.
P2200 can sell for $200+ on ebay...

Dell is pretty good about pushing updates for it's components, but not sure how much firmware support it will have due to it's age.
