At checkout entering the gift card number and PIN number is too difficult to get the equivalent of 25% discount off your purchase?

I did online chat on Costco.com. The rep said they were going to refund me the $25. I said Thank You. 30 seconds later he replied that he was just going to refund the entire purchase, and I got the refund today.
So I got lucky. $75 in gift cards for free! But Costco.com to answer your question.
Did you try typing in the numbers (instead of copying and pasting)? I've seen this suggestion in other threads in the past
Typing it in did work! But other bugs on the site prevented me from placing an order!
