This is almost 2 years old so updates will be running out soon. It's not a bad phone but it's not exactly slick at this point.

Yes, security updates will end in 2026. I wouldn't pay $300 for a phone that will be obsolete/insecure in 2 years.

If you are into custom ROMs and do your own updates after that, this isn't bad. But, my employer won't let me work with a phone that has been jailbroken or rooted.
