Either way, intentionally misleading.

Side question:
My last 2TB NVME drive for my PS5 died after just around 1 year. I sent it in for RMA but I'm not too excited about using the same drive again for another year. It's a Kingston.
Does the PS5 have a habit of killing NVME drives or did I get a lemon with that drive? My PS5 is well ventilated, the NVME drive did not have a heatsink and lastly I'm not a heavy gamer. I game at most an hour at a time, about 5 days a week. Is a heatsink really necessary for light gaming or was the failed drive at fault?

"Using an M.2 SSD with your PS5 console requires effective heat dissipation with a cooling structure, such as a heatsink and a heat transfer sheet."
Apparently Mortal Kombat 1 has a history of killing NVME SSD's without heatsinks too.
