Lyca Is the worst! Porting out took me more than a month!!! (Note: I switch carriers every 3 to 6 months … usually takes less than an hour). And they overcharged me. AVOID LYCA AT ANY PRICE!

I have been on a US mobile trial plan and very happy with them, plan to pay for one year out. worth comparing the two.

I also had a good experience with them recently. Getting the account activated was seamless. Porting out wasn't too bad... I had to call customer service, but they gave me the account number and PIN without any delay or hassle at all.

Do you have experience with their eSIM. They don't list compatible devices. So wanted to know if I can order this plan and then convert to eSIM

Does the end of April cut off for this deal mean we just need to order the SIM by then, or we need to actually activate the SIM by then? Anyone know for sure?

What is the point of buying it?
Use WhatsApp, Telegram, Skype, etc. for free.
Unless a someone one on the other end has no mobile phone.
Do you live outside US? Most people text. Whatsapp and Telegram are unpopular, let along Skype.

Do they make it difficult to not continue after the 90 days are up? Easy to port out?

Shiet. I do what you do. Thank you for sharing your experience. I would've ported from Mint. Anyone suggest where to port to from Mint? Boost, when will you offer again?

When you can't get a Damn Signal, what's the use of subscribing for such useless services.. (I know I'll get lot of thumbs down for this comment, but it won't change the fact and I don't care)

US mobil is legit. They send you both sim cards. White card is Tmobil & Black card is Verizon. It's prepay $72 for whole year, so works out to be $6/mo with tax included. Its 1GB data and unlimit talk/text. Logged into the US mobil online acct and ported in from Tello Mobil took 5 mins, once I input the Tello acct # and 4 digit transfer pin.

Since Lyca uses T-Mobile towers, do you have issue with all T-Mobile mvnos?

Agree. Port out is a nightmare! It is definitely the worst customer experience I've ever had in years. Over 20 phonecalls, hours spent, and emails back and force over a week, still pending.
Other than that, for daily use, it's ok.
