Lyca Is the worst! Porting out took me more than a month!!! (Note: I switch carriers every 3 to 6 months … usually takes less than an hour). And they overcharged me. AVOID LYCA AT ANY PRICE!

I have been on a US mobile trial plan and very happy with them, plan to pay for one year out. worth comparing the two.

I also had a good experience with them recently. Getting the account activated was seamless. Porting out wasn't too bad... I had to call customer service, but they gave me the account number and PIN without any delay or hassle at all.

Anyone know if the SIM can roaming in Spain. It seems Lyca has many stores in Spain.
I plan to travel to Spain to get travel SIM for data

Port out is kind of annoying because of their verification process. You have to call. Make sure if you have certain verification info like the 2 most frequent numbers called, birthdate and last 4 digits of of cc. It took me like a 20-30 minute phone call but my number was ported out shortly after the call. I've done it twice so far.

for $1 more you get 1 more GB + highest priority data with T Mobile Connect. Comparing their 4gb plan to Tmo's 5gb plan.

US mobil has 10GB plan for $15/mo. They want their money all up front though, so $180/year. Add extra $30 if you want mobile hot spot tethering, so $210/year, so that's $17.50/year with mobile hot spot tethering. Otherwise, it's $180/year. Use a virtual or $ store card to pays for it, because they lock your card digits, so you can't remove the card off the bill. T Mobile Connect is 5GB per month hard cap for $15 a month, no need to pre-pay for a year to get this price, You get the highest priority data available, not MVNO status. Unfortunately the 5gb is hard capped, so if you go over you either have to top up or wait until next month.
