Is there a way to sign up for this without a compatible radio? So I can just use the app?
Yes. There is an option for App Only (in the purple section up top, just under the Popular Plans heading)

It is illegal in California to not allow the same method used to create an account to be used to also cancel that same account (meaning if you can create an account online, you can cancel an account online) - which I went into great detail with on page 3. Your reply to me was incorrect in any context with anything I said. I even cited specific California laws regarding account cancellation methods, including online.

So again, your out-of-context reply to me made no sense - and still doesn't.

"Get it?"

Please talk about the deal itself or move on. You seem to be most in the conversation you're attention to have with me here.
You replied to me, and I answered with a correct reading of the incident reported. What you posted is law, that in this particular case did not have an affect if it was over technical issues the person could not cancel.

You replied to me first with irrelevant context that I was wrong about CA law (I'm not). I didn't reply to anybody directly when I posted the CA law about account cancellations back on page 3 but was adding information to the post as needed for the cancellation issues people have with SiriusXM.

Please stop already - for the second time.

Only boomers use Sirius XM. Thats a fact.
I have a car that doesn't have car play and using Bluetooth is flakey at best and still annoying when it does work. I have gotten used to having SiriusXM, but I'm not paying more than $5 a month for it and $3 a month sounds pretty good

$3/mo is about what I would pay for SiriusXM. Put in my account info for my '21 Bolt, offer changed to $5/mo for 12 mos. Hard pass for the bait and switch.
Same experience here.

Don't waste your money subscribing to 2 vehicles. Just subscribe once, and use the app to stream in the 2nd car.
As a technically challenged person, can you tell me where I can find how to get the app nd steam to a second car? Thanks in advance.

Unless you have elevated to a mod beyond think you can tell people to stop posting, I will respond to posts directed to me. What is unrealistic is I don't disagree that is a CA law. But it does not apply in the particular post about not being able to cancel. That's it, all I am saying.

It took me 3 chats, but they gave in. Just tell them you're only interested in that offer, when they say no or offer you something else, ask if they can do a one time courtesy for you. It worked for me.

You're right, I'm not a mod and therefore can't ask you to stop derailing the thread because you misunderstood the detailed information repeatedly given back on page 3. We'll also disregard the comment reactions of people who thought it was useful as well I guess.
So please, do continue talking in circles so more people have to scroll past garbage like this to get the information they need. Have the last word so you feel better about yourself and we can move on. šŸ‘

For anybody else, if you're in CA (and maybe other states?) you have a cancel button on your account page as required by law, so cancelling isn't as difficult as it used to be - thankfully. (legal info on this on page 3 of this deal)

They tried to get me to sign up for $8.99/mo. No.
