I thought you had to be at least 13 to create an account here, did that change?

Why aren't these digitally in 4k? I looked up Planet Earth III and the same situation. I have Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II in 4k digitally.

On Apple, each season is also on sale for $4.99. I already owned the first season and picked up the second today.

Thanks OP!

Anyone have any comments on how good (or not so good) each season is?

It's David Attenborough and the BBC, it's very good. Can you go wrong with that combo?

Yea I hear ya. I guess I was wondering if it was worth buying or just watching once on max (first season). Definitely haven't seen that combo and not liked it.

I personally bought the 4K discs for the much better quality, but if you're going to stream it, quality isn't as big an issue. I think I've watched them a couple times (once on disc, and once streaming). As long as it stays on Max, it's not a bad way to go.

Are these both focused on just nature only? I love Dave Attenborough, but I can't stand when they started having cuts of him in person narrating or intersecting footage of people and cities. It completely brings me out of the immersive cinematography that I love the BBC series for.

I disagree about quality not being an issue when streaming, it absolutely makes a difference. Unless you're internet is too slow then it matters.

Yes, my point is more the digital vs physical. Buying this digitally will be about the same quality as streaming, as popped to the quality you'll get with the physical disc.

Did you buy Season 2 some how? I own Season 1 on 4K disc as well, but didn't know Season 2 came out until now, and don't see any way of buying the 4K disc like with Season 1.
