Interest is taxed at your tax bracket no? I don't think they take 50% from my taxes it's never been that high and at my tax bracket
I'd avoid Citi and USBank like the plague. My minimum to justify my time is also $400. So, I did give USBanks recent $400 a shot because little no principal is required to maintain it, so not losing out on interest at another bank. If they end up screwing me, I won't bat an eye.

Maybe. But if they were in the 37% tax bracket, I doubt they would be wasting their time chasing a $300 bonus.
Single filer would need income over $578,125. Equal to $278/hr.
If they were chasing this bonus, they probably should just stay off sites like slickdeals.
