This is a good deal on recently launched shoes. (Hoka has for the last few years only discounted the old model once a new model is out.) Why is this post downvoted?
Is it because many runners prefer Mach 5 over Mach 6?
Is the site linked not reputable or have bad support?
Is it downvoted since Hokas are "overhyped" by non-runners?
After owning hoka, on runs, Saucony and ofcoz Alphafly I'd say Saucony gives best value. These hoka runs about 200miles then bottom turns hard as rock
Agreed. I love to run and Hoka, as well as On, are the two brands where I need to replace them often if I run around 100 or so miles. The bottom soles tend to run out much faster than a comparable running shoe from Brooks (which I find lasts the longest), Saucony, Mizuno, Altra, and Asics. My favorites from Saucony are the Endorphin Speed and Pro series because there's so much value for the performance and lifespan from those shoes. The Hoka Mach 6s are nice if someone wants a lightweight daily trainer and doesn't mind replacing them often
I am not sure why they are getting a discount but I love the 6s probably better than 5's. The 5's are heavily discounted elsewhere but on this site, they are still $140.00. I will say this they run very narrow, I had to order a half size up and wide. I've never worn wide but that was my only complaint once I got the right fit it's been all good.

It's a terrible deal. I'd never pay more than 50 dollars for hoka as that's their true worth
My Mach 4 only lasted about 30-40 miles before the midsole died.
Have the Mach 5 too. The midsole is better because it's infused with nitrogen. But I don't trust it and thus don't run in it anymore.
Over the past decade I have purchased and ran in over 15 pairs of Hoka shoes. That includes recent hits like the Tecton X and Mach X. For a while there I had a high opinion of Hoka. Simply put, I knew no better. In the past couple of years I have branched out, experimenting with other brands. I can confidently state that Hoka is bottom drawer when it comes to athletic shoes. The competition is smoking them in terms of performance, cushioning, comfort, and value.
Hoka manages to overcome this deficit in performance and quality and gain market share thanks to effective and aggressive marketing campaigns, outreach to YouTube shoe reviewers, partnerships with podiatry practices, and a cult like following among healthcare workers. Hoka is poster child for superficiality. Style over substance. Fashion over facts. The sheep can't help but to lap it up.

Perfect comment needs to be posted in every hoka shoe deal
