Among other differences like the camera, the CPUs/GPUs and memory are quite different.
I found the UX surprisingly laggy -- it's about on par with my 7 year old Pixel 2, though at higher resolution.
Definitely usable, but you will notice a difference between it and proper flagships.

It's not memory expandable just got this phone yesterday and just a single slot for a nano SIM that's it.
I almost returned it was replacing my pixel 2 with a bad front facing camera but have decided to keep it.
