It means peaceful with little movement.

if your kids are beginner or still learning, the flat bottom skates are better to learn on.

I have a 6YO who wears a size 13. So these are meant for 5YO to 7YO. Because they go from 11 to 1 or depend upon how tall the kid is.

God I hate buying shoes for kids. My kid is two. These are "Size small 11-1" - Well he wears a 9 toddler - thought 11 was pretty close lol

Maybe in a few years hell fit them...

have these, but with the front pick when my 5yo started ice skating lessons last year. Good for the first round of lessons until she made it about 2-3 levels up and then the coach needed her to transition to legit figure skating skates. For occassional open skate sessions, should be fine. For learning, definitely recommend ones with the front picks as the lessons heavily focus on either pushing forward with the pick initially. Later on, they use the front pick to quick step and transition to other forms.

definitely quick and easy buckling procedure. if you've used inline skate, snowboarding or ski shoes before, they are very similar. the latch is shite. the strap is even poorer quality. but given the price point, that's to be expected. The cool thing about this is the bottom can extend slightly to grow with your child's foot, to a point.

"Roller Derby" as a brand of ice skates is pretty confusing.
