Display not a major concern for a business laptop, but good callout on price comparison to P14. Thanks!
There have been a plethora of business laptop deals (more so from Lenovo than others) for similar price or less with better specs, just search 'ThinkPad P14s' on SD and have a look.
I don't see any reason spending this much for these specs but if people want to waste their money on this then be my guest.

Have been watching for a T series deal but really haven't seen one - that series seems to be the best all around.
FWIW, the P14s deal can still be had except just a bit higher than before. Using code WSDEAL8, the P14s drops to $1099 with an automatic $40 cart discount added. $100 more than this T14 but the P14s comes with 32GB and 1TB SDD plus a 400 nits screen with 100% sRGB.

The display is abysmal, returned a T14s G4 because of the base display. Maybe ok if a person only opens excel or outlook, but the "Business laptop" excuse is BS for a $1000 laptop to have a terrible screen.

The 400 nits screen is the best display available for the T14/P14S. $1,100 for that 400 nits config you posted considering it was posted here on SD for under $1000 months ago is not a deal. Considering the 5th gen is on it's way and has been announced, the T14 R7 32GB 400 nits should be selling for $800-$900 at this point for it to be a deal.

I don't think you really know how the market works for these machines. The 300 nits displays are specifically made for large companies that want to save every cent of their IT costs. Most people on SD are not buying these for thousands of employees and are buying for themselves. There are few individual people that wouldn't pay an extra $50-$100 for the much better 400 nits screen given the option.

I'm not sure the point you are trying to make here, but the last sentence here literally contradicts what you said in the post before as a reply to me, where spending an extra $100 for 400 nits display (plus, you didn't mention that I also said you get 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD) was NOT a deal on the P14s, so I am confused.

If Lenovo is so robust, why do they only offer 1 year warranty standard? The HP ZBooks and elitebooks come with 3 years standard. For the same price, wouldn't HP be better?

The display is 45% NTSC. Comparatively, the ThinkPad P14s with better specs was available for the same price few months ago: https://slickdeals.net/f/16972714-lenovo-thinkpad-p14s-t14-gen-4-amd-ryzen-7840u-32gb-ram-1tb-ssd-14-400-nit-ips-win-11-pro-989?src=SiteSea
This would be a good deal if it was $799 or below.
