Is there a clause in their price match that says they'll match recent prices? I'm seeing the first page of the flyer is "Door Busters" with a limited date of 4/4 - 4/8 on their version online.
Not sure. Date on the flyer was through the 17th. The mower was supposed to be $20 off @ $399, but the flyer had the price@ $299. They honored it, and as I left, one of them told the other manager that they needed to take down the sign/flyer which was at the front door.
I had few mowers with this brand engine, all failed
I work on small engines and very rarely see any of these engines actually fail. 99% of the time it's the carb from people leaving gas in them all winter or it just gets dirty over time & people don't know how to clean them. Sure there's a small year range where some might have manufacturing defects but that's happens to almost all these companies including Honda. Brigs is the largest manufacturer of small engines so if they were complete junk I doubt they'd be in that spot.

That's funny I have had Briggs & Stratton engines for decades. The last three Craftsman mowers with B&S engines have lasted over ten years each. The mower deck usually rots before the engine goes.
Are you doing the yearly maintenance like changing the oil and air filter once a year and running it dry at the end of the season?

Sorry, I don't agree. The last one went for 25 years w/out an oil change. Very reliable motors.
