HOKA is seeing weaker demand for their shoes in 2024. Last week Hoka's parent company, Deckers Brands, which trades under the stock ticker DECK was downgraded by one investment firm for this very reason.

I'll say their shoes are comfortable but for 180$ shoes they lasted me all but 3-4 months. Insane for such an expensive shoe.

For running or walking? Considering getting some Clifton or bondis for general walking. But if they're finished in 3 months I'll stay far away.

Clifton 9s walking 98% of the time. The fabric of the sides split out. They have a warranty but you pay shipping to them and they will only give you store credit if they say it's a defect. They also won't tell you their judgement by pictures or anything and their online store has some of the highest prices by what I could see

Btw they are truly comfortable but the failure is literally where the fabric attaches to the shoe on the insides. The bottoms still have full tread on them. It's insane something like that failed so easily.

You got 3 months? I got about 45 days, not exxagerating. Leaning to one side really bad, I'm hard on my shoes but still.

Tried to buy, order was cancelled due to "billing issues". No idea what that meant, but I guess I just saved $70.

I have the issue where I wear the inside back of shoes out quicker than normal. With my last pair of HOKA's I barely got 50 miles of running in them, before they started to wear. I tried to do a warranty replacement, and it was a nightmare.

Compared to Brooks, I had the same issue. Send them a photo and copy of receipt, 4 days later a brand new pair were sitting on my porch.

Hokas are nice, but not worth what they cost, given the level of customer service they provide when you ahve an issue.

Would you happen to know if the size of brooks is comparable? Everyone says brooks is great so guess I'll try them next. I frankly just want a shoe to last and be comfortable. It's crazy the amounts of money they are asking for and you don't get jack out of it.

They seem to be about the same size. You can always go to like Dick's sports and try some on. They have a selection of Brooks in stock.

Great price for $70, just wish they had other color options for this price.

In for a pair. Zappos has the best return policy so I'll take a shot.

In for a pair. I have 3 pair which I rotate and love how comfortable they are. Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I wore Ultraboosts before and these are way more comfortable. But t like the others said, they do wear quick. For $70 it's probably worth it. But not for $150 or whatever they want for them not on sale because of how fast they wear.
