If anyone is trying to decide between the regular and executive membership, just know/remember you need to spend $3000 in store or online annually (with a few exclusions) for the executive membership to pay for itself/recoup the extra cost. Every dollar after that is profit.

And I believe you can get a refund if you decide halfway through that you definitely won't make it, just in case.

Their scan and go app is phenomenal though. Hate standing in line at Costco like a sucker. Their TP and paper towels are still cheaper than HEB, and better quality too. Bottled water is cheaper as well, if you need bottled water.

FYI for anyone who bit on the $20 card offer last week - no price match on membership promotional offers. I tried on chat with a representative earlier.

I don't think it should be a problem if you signed up with MasterCard. Their online payment allows MasterCard. It's only when you're inside the warehouse that it has to be Visa only.

I doubt they refund anything. I was told that years ago never got a refund only 20 dollar check mailed and was told to kick rocks essentially.

They have young kids doing the membership and gladly throw them under the bus. So make sure you speak to someone outside of them before you believe it. Preferably a manager.

They refund the difference but you have to be downgraded to a standard membership. I got only 42 last time but chose not to get the refund because I wanted to keep the executive.

It says it directly in their policy. If you do get a refund of the executive membership you do forfeit any cash back you have accrued. You can down grade to the normal membership or you can get a refund for the whole thing.
