These straps feed from the inside of the truck bed instead of the outside which makes for much easier installation and the buckles also have covers to protect your forks from scratches. There are 5 Velcro straps to safely secure 5 bikes that are 2 wide for better stability while holding bikes. It also has a handy large interior tool pouch that has heavy duty Velcro closures. I named my girl truck Vivian and she's more than capable. Took her off roading yesterday and she took quite a beating. Has ample storage in frunk, under rear seats, gear tunnel, bed and spare tire compartment for a mid sized truck. Why need bigger
Even with an 8' bed, loading bikes over the tailgate is still the fastest and easiest way to transport bikes with a truck. Hell, even the kids' 20" bikes get loaded this way because it's way easier and more secure than putting them completely in the bed. You can load or unload 6 bikes in about 30 seconds this way. The only time my bikes go completely into the bed is when I'm towing the trailer and front wheels hanging out might get hit by the trailer's tongue jack.
