Various reports say this chi-com blade is made of either 2Cr13 or 3Cr13 steel, which is extremely poor for bushcraft activities and horrible for edge retention and corrosion resistance. Also, many, many reports on Amazon of chipped blades.

I'd say "hard pass" on this one. Especially when for about $20 more you could get a basic Esee or Tops knife that'll last you a lifetime.
