Quigley Down Under
A fish called Wanda
Those are the only 3 I'd recommend to a friend personally probably ~15 good watchable and maybe another 10 that are good but it's like homework . . . .
Expected more. Just happy I got to choose this time because I'm always late to the party.
Thanks for the warning. I guess this deal is going to be a No for me, sadly. I only had 3 movies from the bundle, I thought I struck gold. 😆
It was a lot of work and hassle for VUDU to incorporate Flixter and UV codes into their system. Flixter, UV, and VUDU didn't have to do all that work. Flixter and UV could have left their users out to dry. But they did the work to complete the migration. To this date, old UltraViolet and Flixter codes that are not Warner Bros still work on VUDU.

Google Sony discovery. Not only did they revoke the licenses because they lost the rights to them they also announced they were going to delete the content from people's devices.
It is that bloody simple. Unless there's enough backlash or someone with the rights is willing to take over. Then you're screwed. Look at how many video games you can't play anymore because the servers are gone. You own nothing. And. You. Will. Like. It.

Witness for the Prosecution is the best court drama ever.
Several Jack Lemmon classics.
The Misfits is my favorite Clark Gable movie (the only one he actually acts in).

1, No risk of damages
2, Doesn't have space to hold 100s of physical media as I have 900+ movies in my itunes collection.
There have been several deals on storage sheds recently.
At the time, I believe Flixter was second or third. UltraViolet was smaller. I know all they had to do was submit a complete database of digital codes to VUDU so that you can redeem Flixter and UV codes on VUDU.
I did google, and Sony reversed the removal of Discovery content. The consumers can never own the content. You get the right to watch the content anytime you want, removing the content would deny you that right. I'm no lawyer but I'm sure there is legal repercussions when Flixter and UV just disappear.
Yes and Sony only backed off after there was significant backlash to the decision to remove their access to "purchased" content but they still could have gone through with it anyway.
It's not a purchase. It's a rental with no defined end date. You will own nothing and like it.

A long time ago I purchased at full price How to Train Your Dragon from scamazon. This was back when they were called Amazon VoD. So it's been awhile. That movie went on an indeterminate blackout period.
Couldn't download it. Couldn't stream it. And it was a very long time before it came back. If you didn't have it downloaded prior to this then you were out of luck.
Imagine paying $20, $30, $40 to "purchase" a movie and then being told "well sucks to be you, rights holder said pull it"
I eventually got a refund after complaining to customer support for it but after that it left a terrible taste in my mouth. I will never again purchase anything digital.
Sony recently announced that due to a rights dispute with discovery they were going to do the same thing that Amazon did only they announced that they were going to go a step further and delete downloaded copies.
They eventually backed off after backlash. But you should never trust that your digital library is safe from a company being a dick.

Sony and discovery tried this bullshit recently. They backed off the deletion of downloaded copies after the backlash but the fact the still tried it is saying something
