Are these an "off-brand" tool? Never heard of them myself (not that it means anything) but with insulated tools, I feel like spending the extra money on high quality equipment when you're working around 600V+ circuits makes sense.

Guess those who died, would have had a hard time leaving a review

Def an off-brand. A 19 pc set like this from Wiha, for example, is about $110. The Wiha's are made in Germany and are their more expensive Slimline design, but gives you an idea how much the name brand professional sets go for.

Yep.. I wouldn't recommend skimping on insulated tools either. Milwaukee, Wera, and Wiha are a few reputable manufacturers that make properly rated "VDE" (insulated) drivers

If you plan on doing a lot of residential electrical, you'll want the square bits - "SQ1 and SQ2". The 13-piece set does not have this but the 15-piece does for $3 more. Square bit definitely the way to go when wiring receptacles and switches and I've never cammed out with these. You can still get by with Phillips bit but I'd recommend spending the extra $3.

For residential 110V this set is good enough. It gives you the piece of mind when replacing the socket.
