Intel i7 14700F scores nearly 45k, AMD 7800X3D scores 35k.

Edit @ 11pm: Nvm now it shows expired for me, not sure why it showed up later for me
For those that missed the deal it was at this price for a day or 2 before it got marked up again, then after 2-3 days, went back down to sale price, at the time i posted this; so it might return to this price soon in the near future. Also if you added the item in your cart before sale expires, it seems to remain unchanged even after price gets marked up again.
But the 5% off code has been up this whole time, haven't seen it go down, not sure when it's gonna end.

Yes a bunch of benchmark sites still show that the "equivalent INTEL cpus" are still comparably better, it's only better than AMD for high processing stuff. The consensus from actual people i've talk to is that if you're using PC only for gaming and basic tasks AMD is overall better, uses less power and generates less heat, cheaper in price, and better running games, Intel is better at non-game stuff i guess although AMD is no slouch. Something about the cores that each company uses like AMD has less but each core runs better and Intel has way more cores but all the extra ones are not used when it's only for games, don't take my word for it. So that's why i wanted to own AMD for once even though i've been using Intel for all past desktops. Don't think you can go wrong if going w/ Intel, if your decision factors around the cpu, they're still INTEL.
What i've noticed while browsing online is barely any AMD prebuilts are on slickdeals and not that many choices online either, seems like most prebuilts and sales are INTEL, like they have some secret (not so secret?) hold on the market/retailers. This is my first prebuilt that i bought, all past desktops were built, definitely harder to find exactly what you want at a "price-i-want" when shopping prebuilts.
