Just got back from my local Costco and purchased one. It appears it was marked down today. Picture posted to the Community Wiki.
The Puyallup, WA store had about 15 units left after I purchased mine.

I will never purchase another Orbi product and I can't recommend them for any price. I have a support ticket open with them that's been going for months with no resolution. The mesh system we have has constant drops and has to be reset every couple of days because all devices stop getting a signal.
I had the same system and the constant disconnects and satellites randomly restarting were it fun. I went with another brand and couldn't be happier.
I've owned Orbi products, and had problems with them from day one. To make matters worse, they only had 90 day support....though that may have changed. And, while this is purely subjective, I think they're the ugliest home electronic devices on the market.

I now have TP-Link Deco mesh products...been fantastic since install which was a breeze. Not one hard or soft reset in over two years.

TP-Link? Been pretty happy with the AXE5300 system Costco sells (so far anyway).

Just a warning... I experienced numerous disconnects and other issues with this router. This was a mistake to purchase.

I've had two different Orbi systems and they have both worked flawlessly. Currently using 860 series for a couple years and no issues. Weird how Orbi work great for some people and others report problems. Not sure what the reason could be. But this is not uncommon for routers across the board. If you read the reviews of almost every consumer router there are a lot of bad experiences mixed in with good ones.

I think the difference is that I have had an actual open support ticket with them for over 5 months. It typically takes them 2 weeks to reply, asking for the same information I previously sent. It's terrible customer service.

They also do the typical thing of closing the previous ticket and immediately opening a new one once it has been aging too long for their SLA.

The thing is customer support is bad for most companies. I understand there are some people that need tech support because they have no idea about how routers work but if you have basic tech knowledge life is too short to deal with customer support. I've had many routers over many years and have never had to interact with router tech support because any issue I had was always quickly resolved by resetting or reinstalling firmware. If that doesn't solve it there's a good chance there is a hardware defect or firmware has an issue that needs to be fixed. If it's a firmware bug I'm not going to just wait around for them to fix it. I'd buy a new router and if Netgear fixed or replaced the router under warranty I'd sell the spare router.

This is exactly what I've told yhem, multiple times. Not only is this a terrible customer service experience, but they have spent more money in support team hours than if they would have just sent new equipment.

I gave them to the end of the month. If it's not resolved by then, I'll move on and never buy from (or recommend) Netgear again.

No, you need an Asus router. The compatible models are here: https://www.asuswrt-merlin.net/

I've had the older one from before wifi6 and I've never had an issue. One problem I had was for some reason with the newer firmware update it didn't show me all the devices connected. So I had to roll back the firmware to the older one.
I've been running this system for 3 years without a drop.

Avoid, they suck. I can't believe Costco still caries them other than Netgear pays for the shelf space and has figured fewer people return them than keep them. They are notorious for breaking stuff with automatic firmware updates. Go Deco or go home.

I'm still using my Orbi system from 10+ years ago and still working perfect. Recently had to buy an extra satellite as we moved in to a much larger house. Couldn't be happier.
