Good deal but not microwave safe.
What a way to mess up a listing. It says microwave safe under special features but product description states it is not.
Not a good price (first time posting so idk if link will show or be hidden but looks like price gets jacked up right before they put "sale" on this multiple times a year)

Avg is closer to 20, the current sale price comparatively to that is an okay deal if you really need them.

Trust? In what? I see nowhere in the listing that says it's unbreakable, or even break/shatter resistant. It's glass, it's not supposed to survive a counter height drop onto a hard floor. It's a miracle the first one you mention actually did. I've dropped several of these and yes, they broke, as one would expect relatively thin, inexpensive glass dropped onto a hard floor to do. The only thing I've lost trust in is my ability to pick up objects without fumbling them.

Well, the trust issue thing was a joke because the first one bounced (miraculously) as you said and the second one shattered spectacularly as one might expect.

Thanks for taking the time to read so much into my post. Have a nice day. ☺️

Apologies then, It's so difficult to tell when people are joking on the internet or serious. Weeping
Really needs a special font for that or something

Like I said towards end, it's an okay deal since it's $6 less than usual reported price. Just meant to be more of a fyi for people that may pull trigger more so because it seems more than 70% off right now
If anybody thinks these things are ever selling for $55 anywhere they are not on this site,

Good deal but not microwave safe.

I have some joy jolt double wall coffee mugs, mine look like the ceramic mugs at the pancake house
Bit clear double wall borosilicate glass like these.
I reheat my coffee in them in the microwave all the time and have no problem.
They came as a set, the inside of one of them had a couple of scratches all the way around the diameter of the inside about half way down into the mug.
Besides that I love them

Sort-of reccommend! Good price.

These are my main coffee cups (6 of them) that I've used for years. They are light and don't feel extremely durable, but I've yet to break one, and I've put them through hard use. If you don't slam your cups like madperson, they will hold up well. Also, because they are borosilicate glass, they are are generally safer than many alternatives for lead, etc. and microwave/dishwash very well.

My one complaint is the lip - Every time I take a sip, the design of the lip makes some of my coffee run down the outside. For that reason, I may see what other designs are out there, but maybe I'm just a pig.

I've gotten a few of these type of glasses from Temu. I've put the Temu version in the microwave several times to make tea. No problem there. I dropped a heavy teaspoon in one, and that smashed the bottom. I dropped another on the floor, and witnessed spectacular explosion of glass. If you want these, the Temu version is cheaper and probably made in the same factory in Shenzhen. Also microwave safe. Don't drop heavy objects in them, and don't drop them on the floor.

Although it's completely likely both are made in the same factory, but Temu is known for only those failed quality assurance check out of the batch, hence the "bargain" obviously. So there is a chance to take of course if you're in the business of quality check and providing feedback for a living.

As a bargain hunter, we often are confused between the true discount as oppose to hidden "price". Name brand is money, time is money, customer service is money, the list goes on. Knowing where the saving is from can be a tricky journey.

Yes, and they were Bodum (Swiss company), 16oz capacity (18oz to the brim), very high quality, stronger than they look, and dishwasher and microwave safe. They have an innovative silicon plug on the bottom that allows them to "vent" rather than break from pressure when they get hot.

Obviously they don't perform like vacuum insulated stainless steel but they keep drinks hot and cold significantly longer than any single-wall mug, and unlike stainless steel, you can microwave them.

I'd hold out for Costco to bring back the Bodum glasses. I bought 8 of them in 2022, use them daily (microwave and dishwasher), and haven't broken a single one.
Doubt it'll be the same price if back on shelf again. That price $20 for 4, apparently is pre-covid price. And those are made in Swiss versus these are from shenzhen. The reputation usually has a price in it.

They don't actually stay hot any longer like many people think, but they are cool to the touch even with hot liquid in them, and they look pretty cool.

They also break really easily.

They do actually stay hot significantly longer. They are "cool to the touch" because they are not loosing heat as fast through the air gap between the two layers of glass. Put a silicone lid on top and you will maximize the insulating effect and make fewer trips to the microwave.
