    They really need to bring the 3D version to the US so we can have it without buying a region free player.

    Make sense. I'll just get the blu ray version instead. It good except the 3D and 4k. Just want the story without the glorified details

    Heads up: This is a terrible transfer of the movie. It was heavily scrubbed of all film grain, so everything has a waxy artificial appearance (especially faces). A new transfer is coming that will hopefully be better.

    Trash transfer. Looks horrendous, probably the worst 4K release ever along with Bourne Identity and Goodfellas.

    I've been holding off on T2 in 4K for a while because of this, but I've not heard anything about a new transfer and I follow this stuff closely. Where'd you hear about a new transfer?

    The standard bluray might be better given the poor reviews of the 4K T2 disc, and it is cheaper
