FYI .. If you get the ps4 disc, upgrade to the ps5 version is not free... It's $10 to upgrade.

The industry really needs to be regulated. Between always-online DRM and digital purchases being able to be revoked without refund at any time, it's a pretty bad situation for consumers.

Yeah otherwise it would have been a good deal. As is the PS5 digital version goes for $30 on sale which is the same price and no need to put in the disc. Still a good deal for PS4 players though.

You just have to be connected in order to play, if server down or no internet if you bring you system out, you can't play, and if they decide to close the server, you don't get to play the game again in years later unlike you own the game in PS2 and still get to play it like 20 years later, regardless if you going to do so or not, I don't but any games that required online for solo play. Unless it's like $5 or under I don't care.

I bought a bunch of titles from 3 different Walmarts. This is one of the few I'm thinking that I may try returning. I don't mind paying the $10 upgrade for PS5 (though it should be free) but I can't stand the always online crap and don't really care to support it.

Stop giving money to companies that only allow you to rent their games. The Crew was shut down and is completely unplayable even though it was capable of having an offline mode. Gran Turismo Sport also had the servers shut down so you lose half the game. Gran Turismo will also be shut down eventually.
