I would say it's just another reminder of not pre-ordering or paying full price unless you're a serious gamer. I've been waiting for this to drop along with Tekken for PC

Why did it take so long. Games typically make half of their lifetime sales within two weeks of launch. And digital games have no physical media costs in printing, shipping, storing, etc. There's absolutely no reason to hold launch price for years.
