These are not terrible cameras, there are much worse out there, but fact of the matter is these random generic names last until the products start failing or they get sued over something, at which point they change to a different name. They trademark and get web domains en masse and just cycle through them over time. Some of the better ones may last a year or two, others a month.
The reason the names are so random and nonsensical is they are required to trademark to sell on amazon, walmart, etc, and it is much easier to trademark gibberish than actual words, especially when you need to frequently change your name.
Look at their website, all cameras are sold out and they don't even list this one. They are in the process of closing up shop.

Cops don't review footage on the scene. With how lazy they are, you're lucky they take statements. And tickets are only written if there's a clear traffic violation.
The footage is for your insurance company first and foremost.

And before you claim I "must live in small town", I don't think too many people would classify Atlanta as small.
I want to buy another one for another car but not sure if I should try this out one first.
You kind of argue against yourself for frames. You say that you want good internal processing but having a camera's processor spend LESS time on a frame makes the actual clarity of image worse. More data is good but more processing power is also good.
Stills can do a perfectly good job in some circumstances like capturing a license plate. And I still believe 20 fps is fine.
And for storage device, you're just making things up at this point. The SD card is going to fail based on overwriting data, regardless on what it is designed for.

Cops do not review dashcam footage on scene and do not take statements on accidents? WHAT? How do they complete accident reports without the driver's statements? Accident reports for collisions on state roadways are mandatory here. It is state law. A possible reason for no accident report is when everyone left the scene which can occur when the drivers had outstanding warrants, no valid drive license, insurance or registration. They will not stay at the scene to be arrested or cited. It will be a hit and run accident if only one driver remained at the scene.
I was involved in 2-3 collisions myself and each time I will get the accident exchange form and tow slip which had the other vehicle, driver, insurance information, the accident report number and location where my vehicle was towed to. Statements were taken from both drivers by the officers. I advised them I had a dashcam. I did not have to remove the MicroSD card from the dashcam. I just unplugged the USB cable from the charger and plugged it into my laptop. It took 30-40 seconds for the dashcam to boot up and my laptop to recognize the dashcam. The officers watched the dashcam videos and they sent me a link to my phone which I uploaded the dashcam video to the case. I think they called it Axon Citizen Link. I contacted the police record department to get their body worn camera videos, dashcam video (the one I uploaded), accident report which will include all the drivers, witness(if any) statements and other things. Apparently, the dashcam I uploaded via the link they sent were listed as evidence provided by a citizen.
Long story short, I got all the information I needed to provide to the insurance company and the attorney from the accident report and the accident exchange form.
Disclaimer - I have two dashcams in my work truck and one in my personal vehicle due to all the accidents and close calls. I'm driving 6-7 hours a day, 5-6 days a week working graveyard shift so dashcams are a must for me. This is why I care more about true specs and night driving capability of a dashcam. Most cheap dashcams will have acceptable video footage during the day but at night with all the street lights and headlights from vehicles....
Want to determine if a dashcam is good or not? Drive at night and see if you can see the plate of the vehicle 10-15ft in front of you with the headlights shining right on it...
Personally, seeing a 4K front dashcam + 1080p rear dashcam combo with built in GPS(NEW) for $40 is like seeing an Iphone 14 Pro for $200 (NEW)...

You know all you had to say was - I just feel more safe to provide 60 fps footage than 20 fps footage. The wear on the SD card is negligible for the ease of mind I get. But you're just making things up
