I chose to do a 1 pay lease and just pay everything at signing. I also had offers for roughly the same total price with $0 down $254 per month, $1k down $207 per month, and $2k down $161 per month. Admittedly those are slightly better than the $6k upfront but they didn't come with the extra $2k in options which I chose to use on lease end protection and tire/wheel protection

I can never duplicate these offers and I live in Denver! Furthermore, why would anyone want to burn their federal & state EV tax credit on a lease? It might make sense to wait two years for these to come off lease and buy them allowing someone else to suffer the depreciation. Right?

Can you use the tax credit on a used car? And Im not sure if this is a car id like to buy used.

Something seems off. So then what happens to the other $3000?

If the offer im seeing is 230 a month and 3500 down for 24 months, that comes out to $9000. Take that and subtract the $7500 tax credit and im only $1500 out of pocket?

I doubt that is the case.
