I am trying to figure out which one is the best deal :
* s23 fro 250
* s23+ for 300
* s ultra for 550

thoughts?
I've read so many of these threads so I may be mixing them together...but I thought the AT&T deal was monthly bill credits where as the VZW deal through Walmart was a monthly "loan" that you can pay off at any time.

Plenty of lawsuits against companies trying to corner markets an trap cattle in things if it weren't again att. Would be a lot more if we weren't a 2nd world uneducatable nation that allows coke addicts an 90 year olds worshipping some fake god nation that owns the corporations an their government an non minds.

I like antifas method of dealing with people. But they never too of microsoft or israel or att. I think it's cause they are those people
What on earth are you talking about?

I would say the AT&T s23+ is the best deal. But you have to do a sim swap, which is more complicated and hacky than this deal. And it activates when it ships, so you'll end up paying some amount of the first month. However, if you go to the original thread for this deal, people are having issues canceling also. So they're both kind of risky from what I can tell.
There is a bullet-prof method: but it will require a sim from another provider. that is true. Other than that - walk into a store that has this available and get a new att number. So you walk out with the phone in 10min, pay in full. You can do all steps in a couple of hours. Unlock is automatic and immediate. Then cancel via a rep, 0 issues as its only been a couple of hours. All i said was ' I changed my mind about switching and your cell coverage is not better than *** in my house'. That's all.

Edit: I realized the sim swap method requires a sim from another cell provider AND an unlock phone from another provide.

I tried twice and in the last step after credit check, picking plan and selecting an area code before adding it to cart, Walmart app errored out and asked me to go to the store, lol. I think it may ran out of stock physically.

For $100 more you can get Cert. Refurb. from Samsung.com.
Just use EDU account and trade in any android phone for $300 off.

Can you provide a link? This sounds like the easiest plan for me. I don't want to fight cell phone service providers (anymore)

in the meantime, I'll search the Samsung edu website.

no. best way to do it is to walk out with the phone fully paid. 250 s23, 300 for s23+.

I have never done one of these buy/pay off/cancel deals. Is it as simple as people say? I'm on an S20 and feel like I'm due for an upgrade.

Not only did I encounter issues at various steps while trying to sign in (had to turn off ad blockers and go through incognito mode), I then got a message that said Verizon would need my phone as a trade-in, and that I had to go to a store to complete the transaction. I have one payment/credit left on my existing phone, so maybe that had something to do with it.
I had the same message about restrictions. It was because the phone wasn't paid off. I paid it off on the Verizon website and the Walmart page then showed as eligible and let me purchase.

Get the phone via Walmart
Activate it
Make a call
Pay off the phone (either within 3 days to avoid activation or after 14 days)
Cancel the line.
Phone will be automatically unlocked.
Yes but some caviate you need to visit store to payoff only in cash, plus 2 months wait time. And No chance of error from you or from customer rep on which you don't have control.
