Edit: Sorry for the misinformation. On my original post, I thought the actual trade-in value of your phone is in addition to the trade-in credit of $500 but its not. Its $500 for the total trade-in credit. Updated the the post accordingly. Thank you correcting me.
Unfortunately you have to go inside samsclub to get this deal. If you HATE monthly bill credits, then this is not for you. In my case I paid $54 to upgrade to pixel 8.

- I paid $31 for tax. No activation fee because of sams club.

Doing the total math: -$631 (phone+tax) + $500 (credit) + $75 (e-giftcard) = -$56
