Unfortunately you have to go inside samsclub to get this deal. If you HATE monthly bill credits, then this is not for you. In my case I paid $54 to upgrade to pixel 8.

Besides that I have used my friends pixel pro 8.
It has some minor upgrades over pixel 7 pro overall I wouldn't upgrade until Google gives decent trade in for pixel 7 pro.
If they don't value their own a year old phone, then I wouldn't give my money to that stupid Sundar Pichai.
I'll still get a 9 Pro. But now I wait about three generations at a time as opposed to when I would get a new phone every year.
I always was taught not to cheap out on things you use everyday like fridges, cars, microwave, TV, toaster, etc because you get what you pay for and a well made product will not only last you longer and save you money but be something that you may retain its value over time or be able to pass on to someone. I argue that phones are a necessary device and utility that one needs today to do everything from grocery shopping to renewing your tabs and filing police reports. I also use it for work everyday as a business owner which makes it even more important to have something of quality and power.
Even though I have grown to loathe the company and their decisions, their hardware and software, their benefits they offer (if they don't cut them), the software "pure android" experience is unmatched, and their investment into AI will pay of hopefully in the next phone as they have been sitting on matching butt plugs names "Wait..." and "Patience" for way to damn long. Either this is it or as long and I can swap Bixby for Google Assistant, I may start looking back at Samsung phones for their innovation and control they offer their customers through their hardware.
