Was this in store or online? I pulled it up and get 199. Tried changing my store to all the ones in the area. Id buy so quick at 90. Ive been eyeing this up.

Anyone who snags one of these should also get a BT or wifi thermometer. This doesn't actually have a "set temp" so to get it dialed in it would be a life changer. Happy smoking

Yeah that doesn't look like it has feedback loop at for the temp control so you would need some aftermarket to make it usable. An analog thermometer on the door is from the 90s.

The smoke box is very thin and doesn't even have an intake or exhaust vents? Not even sure what this for actually...like BBQ chicken summertime only, with the door open?

If so it should be regular price at $100 or less.

That is a strange one. I use my masterbuilt for smoking, mostly late fall and winter during the season.

I purchased a replacement Masterbuilt electric smoker with the digital readout on top last year after my first one that had lasted 6-7 years died. The newer model has a smaller element, smaller chip tray, and as of yesterday, the grounding part of the plug fell out. I'm not sure if this model suffers from the same cost-cutting measures, but it's disappointing that my first one lasted years and my second one lasted barely over a year.
Does anybody have recent feedback on this specific model?
