The sound is not very good and sometimes cuts off the first part of a "ding" noise. Like the audio circuit was sleeping and had to wake up.
It has a split screen mode where it can show two inputs side by side - useful for setting up a second computer.
The USB 3.0 hub is kind of silly - it is only 2 ports on the back. But you can turn it "ON" all the time and use it as a 500mA charging port.

This aligns with the reviews I find online. I'm surprised that this deal is not getting more traction.
Love it, with one LARGE caveat: it has a pretty bad flickering issue with Macs, especially when in dark mode or black backgrounds.
I've learned to deal with it— but would probably get something else in hindsight. Behaves perfectly fine with my PC though.

If you don't do color-accurate work, I find that adjusting the monitor's Color Profile under Settings -> Displays helps. I settled on using the SMPTE RP 431-2-2007 DCI (P3) preset. It's a bit lighter than the monitor's default profile, which has significantly reduced how often I run into flicker-inducing dark colors.
Find a curved UHD 4K IPS monitor.
Main use will be for office / productivity- No gaming.

VA is cheap and can produce good blacks and colors but can be terrible in fast moving scenes with certain colors. (Watch the video)
IPS costs more and cannot produce pure blacks (dark grey only) but, aside from OLED, is the best for gaming as it can handle fast movement and remain clear,
TN is super cheap, cannot produce accurate color but has very good refresh but poor viewing angles.
OLED is, without question, the best but can be prone to burn in and cost a ton of money.
VA is on sale all the time for a reason. Watch the video and educate yourself. Unless you go OLED, every tech has a downside. You just have to pick the one that bothers you the least

"The solution is a high quality thunderbolt-to-DisplayPort cable. The same blog that gave me that advice also wrote that you can use a certified fancy HDMI cable if necessary but advises against it. I have not tried that. But the standard HDMI cable included does NOT work for this monitor with a Mac (I tried another HDMI cable from my TV, it also didn't work). So make sure to order a special cable or you may be disappointed.

I think when it's the dell big sale and when a cashback site has 15% cashback, then it's cheaper on dell? I also recall if you add the dell 10% coupon, it would probably be less than this? But obviously this is the cheapest it will ever get on amazon right? So when dell has it on sale, the lowest price is $319.99 right like it is now? Then you use the dell 10% coupon so now it's around $288. Then if there is 15% cashback on the monitor, then it would come to $244.80 before tax. However, does dell would charge the tax percentage on $320 or $288 in that situation? But only in this scenario would it be cheaper than buying it on amazon now right?
Also anyone here use 2 of these side by side and if so, is it comfortable to use? Or it's too big? when using 2 of them as dual monitor?

Especially for office work, the ppi makes a huge difference, whereas I don't think the refresh rate is as important. Reading text (on browsers or elsewhere), and documents/pdfs, spreadsheets, etc. are very nice at higher ppi.
Imo, ppi for 4k 32" isn't even that good. It's basically the same ppi as a 15" 1080p, which is the same as my laptop from 15 years ago.
But yeah, 1440p at 32" for office work would be a no go.
Now... some people (like my parents) can't tell the difference between 480p and 4k on their 27". Drives me crazy. Kthxbye

2x 32" horizontal would have me swiveling too much, then I'm off center with my keyboard.
My dad just bought 2 of these to use side by side though, so depends on personal preference.
The monitor is also 28" horizontally. So you'd need a 56" desk to fit both monitors. If you have a 60" table, try imagining where you'd sit and turn/rotate. Not too good imo.

What causes it is some sort of miscommunication with these lower end "S" screens. The Ultrasharp Q line does not have the issue.
That being said, I still love this monitor, and I think the image is very hard to bet at this price, especially for office work.
