%$#@! - I already own the base game on steam - bought the GOTY version just now thinking it would add it to my library - nope - "you already have this product in your library.
Any way around this?
I had a weird issue with this for Assetto Corsa and the ultimate edition. I don't think it happened for me for Fallout 4. I also had the base game.
One way to do it (may not be the best) is to request the game to be permanently removed from your steam account. Be sure to to backup old saves to be safe, but I don't think it will remove those local files. Also not sure how this impacts achievements or other special things to consider. You can look up online how to do this, believe it involves self help support.
Then after it's removed, redeem the GotY edition key.
More of a comment about CD Keys and G2A: Have bought before from CD Keys and was pretty seamless and as OP shared they give you product code. Buying recently from G2A was complete opposite horrible experience... Anyone can sell on that open market and there are some bad players on there, which i think I bought from. It was likely a Russian or Ukraine hacker (country code) or stole someone's credit card and bulk purchased from Steam to sell (launder) games. You get a generic steam account with that game only in that account library along with random shady email account to verify. On top of that the game wasn't deluxe version and the combo G2A random "diamond" grade keys were 100% garbage games no one has ever heard of.

So, I get home to get a better look at my steam install (i was remoted in from work), and i check the DLC - and apparently I already have it all. Is there any difference between the GOTY edition, and just having the whole game PLUS all the DLC? according to the DLC details I already have Fallout 4: Base Game, Fallout 4: Season Pass, Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World.
If there really is no difference, then I guess ill just give this key to one of my nephews, and this problem has been solved.
Strange. I purchased it but I only see Fallout 4 in my Library not Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y. Yet DLCs appear to be available. I wonder if it is just reflected in the Library as a standard game but I actually gain access to all DLCs via that product code, when redeemed.

Recap, CD Keys is good, G2A is bad
Sadly this isn't an issue with G2A this is a you problem. You bought a clearly disclosed account that has the game. Sorry you got scammed. You DO have to pay attention to what you are buying. These sites clearly disclose what you get when you purchase.
