This usually sells out extremely fast. They've updated the model for the first time ever with more "likelike" animated eyes and different eye effects you can choose as well, all for the same price it usually sells at.

Currently a little over 2200 in stock. If you've been on the fence I'd say grab it now before they're inevitably all gone and you're paying $500+ on marketplace.

It hasn't and I love it! I know some on various social media groups were waiting most of the night for these and also the new 7' dog skeletons to be available.

Hide Same social media groups also had me going with their April Fools prank of an 18' skelly being available this year for about a minute. Of course, I had to prank a co worker and my kid with the same laugh out loud

Has the dog sold out or was it never listed as in stock on the website?

Hi there. I have not been able to find it when searching HD's website, so I'm not sure which it is. If I find out anything, I'll let you know.

I don't believe it has. Home Depot's release schedule for their halloween animatronics seems to be really weird and unpredictable thus far this year. Many of their "teased" offerings for the 2024 holiday season do not seem to be available on the website currently.

If you're into decorating, this is a legit item and pretty cool. It should go without saying that the box is massive. For storage between seasons, I remove the head and arms just to streamline it a bit, and lay it down in my basement. It's solid enough that once set up should be pretty sturdy, but a lot of the connections rely on interference between plastic molded pieces and once stripped, it won't have posability.

I bought mine around this time a year ago, and it does sellout fast and stays sold out the rest of the year. You'd think given the demand they'd plan better.

If I accidentally came across a 12 foot skeleton while digging in the back yard, I would not only put it back in the ground, I'd put the house up for sale ASAP.

Discover card has a 5% Cashback on Home Improvement stores this quarter.

I mean, of course MSRP is not a slick deal - so the only question is how likely is this thing gonna go on sale before Halloween if it never did in years prior, and they are saying the dog accessory, the $200 7 FT Skelly's Dog is already sold out earlier today.

How large is the retail box, I'm guessing the huge size of the retail box is why it's harder to warehouse this? So that's why it always sells out, so therefore if it's between Sold Out in October and In Stock for $300 today, the 5% Discover Cashback this quarter makes this a $15 Off sale at least.

It's more of an awareness post since these things notoriously sell out super fast and then you're stuck paying second-hand prices which are usually double if not more. So yes, getting it "at price" actually is pretty slick.
