Worth upgrading from a 5? I like my 5 a lot, but I can tell the battery is starting to age. I think I also have 45mm. It's been fine on my wrist and I like the screen real estate. Has anyone went to the smaller size and liked it?
I initially got a 45mm from Costco, returned after a couple weeks (due to strap size), and when I bought again- went with 41mm, looks better on my wrists. It depends on the wrist size (IMO).
That lasted like an hour. Not sure what was going on with that I got one + an SE 2 for $105 as well. But that wasn't a normal deal/pricing.
Yes the S9 41mm was $221 for an hour and the SE2 was $109 for an hour as well. Otherwise, these are good prices for anyone who wants a watch now. If someone can wait, should be cheaper on Prime Day in July if Amazon has it at $279 like it did the S8 last July

Agreed. It's personal preference. I think the vast majority of 41 are for women and kids and 45 for men. But I've seen plenty of women wear 45 and men wear 41.

Correct, It's based on the wrist size, not based on sex/age.
Whatever Apple saved not properly licensing the Pulse Oximeter has helped me save money not upgrading to this version from my S7. I usually switch every 2 years when they go on sale.
I can't bring myself to give up one of the flagship features of the non SE. The discount isn't good enough.

Walmart has blood oxygen version with same price
Apple Watch Series 9 GPS 45mm Midnight Aluminum Case with Midnight Sport Band - M/L. Fitness Tracker, Blood Oxygen & ECG Apps, Always-On Retina Display https://www.walmart.com/ip/5032289286
I have a 6 with the Oxygen sensor.. i have used it 2-3 times in 4 years.. not particularly valuable unless it's doing some calculations for your stats behind the scenes.

I had a 44 in the series three got a 41 in a series 6 and it's too small and the battery doesn't last as long. I think I need a new one as my battery sometimes doesn't even make it through the day.

afaik it's good in that if it measures consistently low the watch will warn you that something is up.
Yeah, but You buy how many thousands of dollars of stuff a year online? It used to be just $12/month, but it is still worth it. Buying the watch will pay for 1.5 months. I'll just say I've been using it for almost 10 years and don't doubt my overall savings. 10% on a $2000 TV pays for the year.

This is why I ultimately said screw it and got the 45MM from Best Buy w/o blood oxygen. Very people seem to actually need it. BBY will give me $90 trade-in for my Series 5 and $100 off seems like a no brainer.
Walmart has the one w/blood oxygen, but then you need to get the M/L band which, frankly, is massive for my wrist.
