Joking aside, what the hell is Hydrolyzed Collagen... it is the #1 ingredient!

My wife also takes it for her skin.

And next is the malitol...oh boy. Sugar alcohols cause extreme gastric distress in those sensitive to it or those not aware thinking it's the milk (protein) included in the bar. This just another cheap sugar like corn syrup and it's derivatives.
The regular price of $25 was absolute robbery! This should be priced no more than $10 for the little actual whey (milk) protein that's in it. Stay away from this bar!
From sunlight to protein you can find a human that will react to them or eggs, milk, soy, nuts, oils, sugar alcohols, etc. Another thing SlickDeals can't protect you from.
Point to a protein bar that no one will be "sensitive" too. $10,000 bounty on the link. Your yardstick. Now, you'll owe me $10,000 if you link to something a "sensitive" person might react to
BTW, I never said if hydrolyzed collagen was good, bad, or ugly. Just clarified what it was (per Google AI) per ten80's question.
So collagen is not a source of protein? LOL...okay. "Collagen is found in the skin, bones, tendons, and ligaments of animals like beef, chicken, fish, and pork." So if the ingredient list said "beef" the training benefits would suddenly be better? Not sure that is now it works but you are the one with the PhD.
Source? And that is assuming there was even a true consensus, which there certainly isn't.
We all react differently to different ingredients. Even water. You'll never find a perfect source of...anything...for everybody...especially those "sensitive" to something. You need to be aware of your triggers. SlickDeals can't do that for you.

LOL...so why are you even here? Sounds like you had this rant locked and loaded before you even clicked on the deal you never intended to buy.

Whey Protein Supplementation Is Superior to Leucine-Matched Collagen Peptides to Increase Muscle Thi... [nih.gov]
Collagen (peptides) is an incomplete source of protein (like rice protein) and is not like whey and egg protein powders that are whole sources. Fact.
Research the difference and the importance.
Collagen best in beauty products. In food, the price should be at what's it's worth. Definitely not in the price range of their MSRP

And your link is a far cry off from your claim of 'no training benefits.' No where near the same as "superior" results. (Something I never mentioned either way) Heck you can't even agree with your own claims. And yes, there is always something else "superior"...do you want a protein cookie for pointing that out?
Why am I even here? You'll continue this little performance well into the night...all by yourself. You don't need me to argue with yourself
BTW, see how I voted this as "helpful?" Means something right

Thank you for posting this info. I've bought these before and had no idea the main source of protein was collagen. Very misleading.
