Tri-Brace Stabilizer on the back of the clubhead helps transfer more energy to the ball while delivering incredible sound and feel
Twenty grams of high-density tungsten in the toe of long and mid irons enhances head stability at impact and lowers the center of gravity
Forged 8620 carbon steel face is backed by an integrated impact mass area provides a solid, muscle back-like feel but with a cavity back design

Check out Lazarus clubs. Very nice for the price. I got one last year and it has served me well. The black finish does not hold up well, but the grooves are very nice. For $50ish you can buy a new one every year!
Im in a similar spot and was about to ask this question…
I'm a 15 and went with these CBs. I play old Titleist dci 990s that are probably considered a cavity back. I want to get more consistent at ball striking, so I don't want to go "backwards" in a more forgiving club face

If you want to make the game easier for you get the D9. If you care about looks feels and working the ball get the CB.
If you want something in between I think the D9 forged still has some forgiveness but being a forged club it will have better feedback on ball striking.
Start with edge set then replace with clubs you get fitted for as you improve.
